Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site trials and provide the critical coverage necessary for successful outcomes
• Manage the full trial lifecycle, including setup, equipment procurement, data accumulation, and value confirmation
• Serve as a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert to customers and frontline sales teams
• Deliver technical expertise to solve complex challenges and mitigate customer attrition risk
• Maintain expert knowledge of the Buckman product portfolio and R&D pipeline
• Support customer health checks and provide expertise to existing accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Chemistry
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a solutions engineer
• Deep industry knowledge within the trial and tissue sector
• Fluency in both English and French
• Ability to travel up to 70%

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales roles
• Proven ability to create big-picture solutions and present ideas clearly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity
