About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop competitive and optimized gas solutions using the Lurgi portfolio, including SMR, ATR, and POX.
- Act as the regional focal point for Large Industries project developments for Lurgi technologies.
- Lead the solution development effort by creating technical deliverables such as solution tables, scope of work definitions, and technical specifications.
- Support the E&C Third Party Sales team and Air Liquide businesses in technical customer exchanges and presentations.
- Work with Product Lines and Proposal teams to finalize design basis and technical proposals.
- Drive the Basis of Design with clients and define optimized process integration.
- Collaborate with Intellectual Property and Procurement teams to ensure technical feasibility and commercial competitiveness.
- Participate in technical clarification meetings, estimate reviews, and contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or an equivalent engineering field.
- Proven experience in process design, specifically with HyCO plants or similar technologies.
- General knowledge of project development, execution, industrial gas plants, and the market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10% for domestic and international meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Aspen Plus simulation software.
- Strong organizational and people management skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and work within multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in German or French is considered an asset.
