Solution Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, high-performance data platform solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Translate business requirements into robust end-to-end data architectures
• Design batch and streaming data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer
• Lead data migration and ETL/ELT replatforming initiatives to GCP-native services
• Define transformation logic using SQL, Python, and dbt
• Ensure strong DevOps alignment through CI/CD, security, governance, and observability
• Manage cutover and rollback strategies and participate in change management processes

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing data platform solutions on GCP
• Hands-on expertise with BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation
• Experience using dbt (data build tool) for scalable data transformations
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including schema design, modeling, and query optimization
• Experience with GCP DevOps tools such as Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and Cloud Logging
• Experience with data migration, cutover planning, and risk management
