Solution Author, Audit Solutions

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain audit engagement content, methodologies, and workflows within the Caseware Audit portfolio.
• Translate U.S. auditing standards and regulatory requirements into practical software solutions and user experiences.
• Develop audit programs, risk assessment procedures, internal control documentation, workpapers, and engagement templates.
• Create logic-driven content and automated workflows to improve engagement quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to define requirements and validate functionality.
• Research changes in auditing standards and industry trends to support continuous product innovation.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit workflows through automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of external audit experience within a public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of audit methodology, risk assessment, internal controls, and audit documentation.
• Hands-on experience applying U.S. accounting and auditing standards.
• Experience performing financial statement audits for private and/or public companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional and technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation.
• Experience with audit technology solutions, such as Caseware Working Papers or Cloud Audit.
• Experience developing or maintaining audit methodologies, templates, or professional guidance.
• Experience with SOX/internal control testing and documentation.
• Previous involvement in training, technical accounting groups, or methodology teams.
