Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and govern end-to-end solution architectures for business and IT initiatives
• Translate enterprise architecture principles and standards into practical project solutions
• Provide architecture guidance and technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure solutions comply with security, integration, cloud, and enterprise architecture standards
• Review solution designs to identify architectural risks and dependencies
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, and delivery teams
• Drive the adoption of reusable architecture patterns and best practices
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation and decision records
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale IT solutions
• Strong understanding of application, integration, cloud, and infrastructure architecture
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with API-led integration, event-driven architecture, and microservices
• Familiarity with architecture modelling tools (e.g., IBM System Architect, Sparx Enterprise Architect)
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
