Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of long-term strategies in business process, information, application, and technology domains
• Define and design as-is and to-be models for the domain
• Define and develop architecture frameworks, concepts, and methods
• Facilitate development work with architecture support
• Communicate and explain architecture deliverables
• Create and maintain models in Sparx Enterprise Architect or other tools
• Ensure incorporation of security by design
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive record of usability requirements and develop relevant IT Products

Requirements

• University degree with minimum 6 years of IT experience (or 12 years non-university IT experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise or domain architecture
• Experience with M365: SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Power BI, and Azure
• Experience with Business Information Systems such as PRIME, ECMP, or PHE Intranet
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and programming/scripting
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF
• Experience with modelling languages such as ArchiMate
• Experience using IT architecture tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Excellent command of the English language

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of design patterns in big data, cloud solutions (Azure), and AI
• Knowledge in public health
• TOGAF, SABSA, or ArchiMate certifications
