Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and drive end-to-end solution architectures balancing business needs, technology capabilities, and long-term maintainability
• Act as a senior technical advisor to client stakeholders, translating business objectives into actionable technology roadmaps
• Define reference architectures, patterns, and best practices for software engineering, data pipelines, and cloud platforms
• Partner with engagement leaders to shape scope, define delivery models, and mitigate technical risks
• Provide architectural oversight throughout the delivery lifecycle, including design reviews and code assessments
• Mentor team members and contribute to Elixirr’s technology offerings and go-to-market strategy
• Evangelize emerging technologies such as GenAI, cloud-native platforms, and AI/ML to drive business value

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data architecture, or cloud-native solution design
• Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale, high-complexity technology systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, microservices, and APIs
• Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders up to the C-level
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development lifecycles
• Strong collaboration skills with experience partnering with product owners and delivery teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives or enterprise modernization programs
• Depth in AI/ML systems, cloud data platforms, or event-driven architectures
• Prior consulting experience or similar client-facing technical leadership roles
• Experience guiding teams in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare
