Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and end-to-end architecture development for a global Energy Trade and Risk Management (ETRM) solution on Azure.
• Integrate business processes, data, applications, and information security into cohesive, scalable IT solutions.
• Serve as the primary architectural contact for IT projects, guiding detailed designers and business analysts through the design phase.
• Review and formally approve detailed solution designs to ensure alignment with business standards and reference architecture.
• Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of Reference Models and elevate project deliverables to conceptual and logical architecture levels.
• Monitor emerging technologies to design future-ready solutions and champion architectural excellence within the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Trading IT.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with OpenLink Endur v14+.
• 10+ years of expertise in software and architecture delivery.
• Proven experience with Cloud Native Platform development (Azure or AWS).
• Strong Data Architecture experience, including logical data models and medallion architecture.
• Proficiency with TOGAF or a similar enterprise architecture framework.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end trading business lifecycle, from deal inception to settlement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in programming languages such as Node.js, .Net Core, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including AKS, CosmosDB, Azure Functions, and Data Factory.
• Experience with distributed/event-driven architecture using Kafka, Event Hub, or Service Bus.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like React and Micro frontends.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of JVS and OpenComponents.
