Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into distinguished technical designs for large-scale, complex projects
• Lead technical workshops and present architectural solutions to board-level stakeholders
• Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure successful implementation
• Create comprehensive technical architecture documentation
• Work with QA leads to define test strategies and with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure implementations meet non-functional requirements including security, scalability, performance, and availability
• Travel to client sites during inception phases to provide training and workshops

Requirements

• Extensive expertise in the Java platform
• Proven experience with Spring, Maven, and Jenkins
• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Micro-Services Architecture
• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks, MVC patterns, and REST API principles (RAML/OpenAPI)
• Professional experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks
• Broad operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers, and infrastructure components
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing solutions for financial services or banking sectors
• Experience with Portal/Web Content Management systems
• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as CQRS and event sourcing
• Experience with server virtualization and container technologies (Docker, VMWare, HyperV)
• Professional experience using Integration Platforms and API Gateways
