Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of secure, scalable cloud and AI solutions for enterprise and regulated customers in the UAE.
• Translate business objectives into target cloud, data, AI, and integration architectures and roadmaps.
• Design multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including landing zones, networking, and security.
• Architect AI, MLOps, and data platforms (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Databricks) for GenAI and automation use cases.
• Own the presales lifecycle, including RFP/RFI ownership, TCO/ROI modeling, and technical proposals.
• Define and implement governance and security-by-design controls aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR/PDPL.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to solution and cloud architects.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of overall IT experience with 7–10 years specifically in solution or cloud architecture roles.
• Proven track record designing multi-cloud or hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure, and preferably GCP/OCI).
• Strong presales background with experience in complex deal shaping and executive-level presentations.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML and MLOps stacks (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, PyTorch, LangChain).
• Proficiency with DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional-level cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect – Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with sovereign cloud implementations or regulated industry verticals (BFSI, Government, Telecom).
• Familiarity with regional compliance requirements, including UAE data residency and GCC regulations.
• Strong network within the Middle East technology and enterprise ecosystem.
