Solaris Administrator

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural and architectural design of platforms, middleware, and databases to ensure scalable and extensible solutions
• Provide technical expertise in architecture planning, migration, and installation for new projects
• Conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing current and future requirements
• Strategize and implement disaster recovery, backup, and recovery plans
• Manage day-to-day operations, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and developing permanent fixes
• Plan and manage upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and configuration functions
• Develop shift rosters and create technical documentation such as SOPs and operations manuals
• Manage team resourcing, including hiring, training, and talent development
• Conduct performance reviews and drive employee engagement initiatives

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in Solaris Administration
• Proven expertise in architecture planning and design
• Strong experience in disaster recovery and capacity planning
• Demonstrated ability in team management and talent development
• Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and technical troubleshooting
