About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the structural and architectural design of platforms, middleware, and databases to ensure scalable and extensible solutions
- Provide technical expertise in architecture planning, migration, and installation for new projects
- Conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing current and future requirements
- Strategize and implement disaster recovery, backup, and recovery plans
- Manage day-to-day operations, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and developing permanent fixes
- Plan and manage upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and configuration functions
- Develop shift rosters and create technical documentation such as SOPs and operations manuals
- Manage team resourcing, including hiring, training, and talent development
- Conduct performance reviews and drive employee engagement initiatives
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Solaris Administration
- Proven expertise in architecture planning and design
- Strong experience in disaster recovery and capacity planning
- Demonstrated ability in team management and talent development
- Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and technical troubleshooting
