Solar Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce a zero-incident safety culture and follow all Health & Safety policies
• Conduct daily tailgate meetings, hazard assessments, and secure electrical work permits
• Perform technical troubleshooting, corrective actions, and preventative maintenance
• Execute proper energization, de-energization, and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures
• Read and interpret schematics, SLDs, and electrical blueprints
• Complete QA/QC inspections and document deficiencies
• Ensure maintenance complies with OEM specifications and standards like NFPA 70E
• Supervise and support a team of technicians to ensure efficient work performance
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency support

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
• Proficiency in mobile apps and digital tools (Microsoft Office, CMMS)
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in an electrical or mechanical field
• Journeyman Electrician License (state-certified)
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
