Solar Service Advisor

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new solar service business through referrals and partnerships
• Conduct site visits and system assessments to scope service needs
• Prepare accurate quotes for solar repairs, removals, and battery additions
• Schedule and dispatch technicians for service calls and project work
• Manage work orders, material procurement, and parts inventory
• Provide daily direction and oversight to solar service technicians
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and field service software
• Track job costs, margins, and department revenue

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the solar industry
• Strong understanding of residential solar PV systems and inverters
• Proven ability to read and produce quotes or proposals
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple jobs
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience directing or coordinating field crews
• Familiarity with battery storage systems like Enphase IQ or Powerwall
• Experience with real estate solar disclosure reports
• Proficiency with field service or CRM software
