About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform calculations and design for PV ground mounted and rooftop systems
- Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) based on system specifications
- Oversee project execution and troubleshoot design or construction issues in the field
- Create array layouts, electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and connection diagrams
- Run PVsyst reports for system production estimates
- Develop optimal designs including SLD, PML, conduit/wire scheduling, and 3-D renderings
- Ensure designs adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams
Requirements
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical or Renewable Energy
- Proficiency in CAD and PVsyst software
- Experience with system sizing and electrical calculations
- Ability to develop electrical single-line diagrams and equipment plans
