Solar Mowing Operator

Responsibilities

• Execute in-the-field vegetation management work under the direction of an onsite supervisor
• Operate commercial riding mowers, zero-turn mowers, and other landscaping equipment
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mowers and other equipment
• Provide updates on work status and report any concerns to onsite supervisors
• Comply with industry standards and client-specific safety requirements

Requirements

• Experience in landscaping, mowing, farmwork, or general construction labor
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical work in various weather conditions and terrain
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• Standard First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain it)
• Willingness to travel across Michigan and work irregular hours, including weekends
• Ability to conduct field work for 10+ hours per day and work in excess of 40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating and performing general maintenance of commercial mowers
• Experience with herbicide application

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
• Overtime compensation for hours worked over 40 per week
• CONUS per diem for applicable overnight travel
