Solar Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks and behavioral observations
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical and electrical solar plant components
• Review system data and adjust settings on computerized monitoring equipment
• Prepare detailed work order documentation including photos and root cause analysis
• Perform quality assurance inspections on newly onboarded solar sites
• Adhere to all lockout/tagout procedures and safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic understanding of electrical principles
• Experience using hand tools and performing mechanical troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead and climb stairs/ladders
• Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures and wear arc-flash PPE
• Ability to distinguish colors and maintain 20/40 vision
• Willingness to travel up to 100% including overnight stays
• Availability for on-call rotation including evenings and weekends
