Solar Lead

About the Company

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI. We are singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else by acquiring power, designing and building data centers, and operating them.

Responsibilities

• Own solar strategy and deployment, including commercial relationships with developers, suppliers, and IPPs
• Negotiate solar PPAs, behind-the-meter offtake agreements, and retail power arrangements
• Shape solar energy outcomes through interconnection processes and regulatory/policy engagement
• Partner with site acquisition teams to assess solar resource quality and supply chain constraints
• Quarterback solar workstreams across design, construction, finance, and grid operations

Requirements

• Experience managing a portfolio of large-scale infrastructure or data center projects
• Proven ability to build program tracking processes and reporting pipelines from scratch
• Experience coordinating across construction, utilities, legal, finance, and operations
• Expertise in managing stage-gate or milestone frameworks for site selection and permitting
• Strong ability to identify schedule risks and cost exposure proactively
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data center powered shell or leased capacity deal structures
• Knowledge of utility interconnection and power market dynamics
• Understanding of AI infrastructure constraints
• Experience building portfolio-level tooling or automation
