Solar Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite troubleshooting and repair of solar systems
• Document visits and complete job close out reports
• Schedule site visits directly with customers
• Perform O&M work, monitoring support, and site surveys
• Execute field installations including PV, storage, MPU, or structural upgrades
• Conduct safety and quality site audits and damage investigations
• Maintain SLAs for service work site visits

Requirements

• 3+ years of installing, repairing, and troubleshooting residential solar and storage systems
• 1 year of experience working at heights (rooftops, ladders, stairs)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and work in extreme environments
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical License
• Electrical experience
• General construction or framing experience
• General knowledge of residential home maintenance and repair
