About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Solar Service Technicians in hands-on field operations
- Manage service teams and maintain quality and safety standards
- Oversee inspection, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of existing solar PV systems
- Review and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents for compliance
- Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Provide accurate daily documentation including logs, photos, and reports
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the solar industry or 3 years in the electrical field
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with laptops for diagnostics and web-based monitoring platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving as a professional point of contact for customers
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and machine language
- Strong ability to promote and enforce a safety culture
