Solar & Battery Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations for solar PV and battery storage installation
• Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel
• Ensure construction activities follow approved drawings, specifications, and project plans
• Monitor project schedule and progress; report delays and propose corrective actions
• Coordinate installation of solar modules, inverters, transformers, battery containers, and electrical systems
• Review method statements, inspection test plans (ITP), and work procedures
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with standards
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with local HSE regulations
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings
• Liaise with project engineers, design teams, client representatives, and local authorities
• Coordinate grid connection activities with utility providers
• Track material deliveries and site inventory
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of solar and battery systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in solar PV or power plant construction projects
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with site construction management, QA/QC, and HSE practices
• Knowledge of Philippine electrical codes and grid interconnection processes preferred
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management experience
• Willingness to be based at project site in the Philippines
