Solar & Battery Site Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise site earthworks, land grading, and compaction activities
• Oversee construction of foundations for solar mounting structures, inverters, transformers, and battery containers
• Ensure installation of site drainage, access roads, fencing, and auxiliary buildings
• Implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for civil works
• Conduct site inspections and raise non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Monitor concrete works, rebar installation, and structural assembly quality
• Enforce safe work practices and compliance with HSE requirements
• Coordinate daily activities with electrical and mechanical teams
• Supervise civil subcontractors and track material deliveries
• Prepare daily progress reports and support project handover

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power plant or renewable energy construction projects
• Experience in solar PV site civil works preferred
• Knowledge of Philippine building codes and site permitting processes
• Ability to interpret civil drawings, topographic surveys, and structural plans
• Willingness to be assigned full-time at project site in the Philippines
