Solar AC Electrical Foreman

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose faulty AC/DC electrical systems, devices, and parts using testing equipment and hand tools
• Analyze electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and code compliance needs
• Verify circuit continuity and system integrity through testing
• Provide feedback to management regarding equipment operation hazards
• Perform physical tasks on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs to install or repair wiring and fixtures
• Execute physically demanding tasks including trench digging and underground conduit installation
• Interpret plans, specifications, contracts, blueprints, and safety documentation
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards and code violations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial, industrial, or solar electrician journeyman
• Thorough understanding of electrical theory, high/low voltages, and power generation
• Proficiency in switchgear maintenance and paralleling procedures
• Strong knowledge of job site safety and hazard evaluation
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment
• OSHA 10 certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
• High School Diploma or equivalent
