Software Validation & Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define validation strategies and test plans for hardware and software solutions
• Write test scenarios and cases based on functional requirements
• Ensure coverage of impact analyses and functional requirements
• Maintain test repositories and traceability matrices
• Execute test campaigns on PCs, simulators, or test benches
• Investigate anomalies and perform root cause analysis
• Document results and write associated test reports
• Manage and track anomalies and change requests

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Automation, or Electronics
• Experience in software verification, validation, or testing in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of the V-model and verification/validation activities
• Proficiency in writing test plans, scenarios, and procedures
• Experience in impact analysis and requirements coverage
• Knowledge of quality processes and configuration management
• Ability to analyze and investigate complex anomalies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with technical environments such as ControlBuild, ClearQuest, JIRA, Simulatio, E3.Series, TestStand, Citrix, or Traceview
