Software Validation Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional validation of software components for the onboard train supervisor
• Define and implement test strategies in compliance with railway standards
• Design and develop test scenarios and automate validation campaigns
• Analyze results, write validation reports, and propose improvements
• Collaborate with development, integration, and certification teams
• Monitor anomalies and contribute to their resolution
• Participate in technical reviews and project follow-up meetings

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Master's level) in embedded computing, automation, or critical systems
• Significant experience in software validation within the railway sector or similar regulated environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
• Experience with test tools like DOORS and VectorCAST
• Knowledge of railway standards (EN 50128, CENELEC) and development cycles (V-model, Agile)
• Experience with configuration management tools like Git or SVN
• Ability to write technical documentation and work in multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with critical embedded software projects
• Knowledge of modeling tools such as UML or SysML
• Experience in test automation and continuous integration
