Software Testing Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage the software testing team and resources, fostering a climate of teamwork, motivation, and professional growth.
• Define, deploy, and execute comprehensive test plans and software test strategies for platforms and applicative projects.
• Oversee all verification and validation activities, ensuring test cases are properly defined, reviewed, and executed.
• Ensure full test traceability, requirements coverage, and completeness of documentation in accordance with automotive standards.
• Prepare and present validation and verification reports to design teams and customers.
• Lead the optimization of validation plans, internal processes, and the development of testing environments and tools.
• Maintain and optimize the test management system across all software test levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software testing.
• Strong technical knowledge of Electronic Hardware, Systems, and Software.
• Knowledge of functional safety norms and requirements.
• Proficiency with testing processes, environments, and requirement management tools.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Valid Driving License.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mechatronic products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with configuration management and distributed development/offshoring activities.
