Software Test Specialist

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to ensure alignment on quality goals and project deliverables
• Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate application features
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts
• Contribute to the development of performance testing scripts to evaluate system scalability and reliability
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Identify, document, and track software defects and collaborate with developers for resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with 4 years of relevant technical experience
• Active or Interim Secret security clearance on hire date or ability to obtain one
• Skills to write test procedures and review test data for hardware testing
• Understanding of manual and automated test execution processes
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Current TS Clearance
• SCRUM or Leading SAFe certifications
• AI in T&E certifications
• Familiarity with Javascript and C
• Experience with JIRA
