Software Test & Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and document comprehensive test cases for sub-system, system and vehicle battery and energy management systems
• Collaborate with embedded software and systems engineers to diagnose and resolve integration issues
• Track feature maturity through SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level test assets
• Analyze diagnostics and telemetry data from CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication systems
• Test, validate, and calibrate battery and energy management features including charge/discharge controls and state-of-charge algorithms
• Plan and coordinate use of test assets and temperature chamber usage

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience with control systems, battery management, or energy storage
• Proficiency in automated test case development for SIL/HIL (Pytest, OpenHTF, or similar)
• Hands-on experience in embedded software integration and hardware/software debugging
• Experience with communication bus monitoring tools like Vector CANalyzer
• Experience with calibration and diagnostics tools such as Vector CANape or INCA
• Familiarity with lithium-ion battery fundamentals and power electronics
