Software Test Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Perform verification and validation SQA functions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Create and execute test cases, exploratory testing, test plans, and test reports
• Investigate software bugs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex system-level field complaints
• Develop test datasets and execute automation scripts to ensure high-quality application software releases
• Review system specifications, requirements, and user stories to ensure sufficient test coverage
• Create trace matrices and review deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Provide regular status reports and use established metrics to monitor progress

Requirements

• Associate degree plus 7 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field plus 5 years of experience
• Moderate knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated understanding of test methodologies
• Ability to conduct thorough data analytics and implement data-driven solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience using Python, Selenium, or C#
• At least 2 years of experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, or GIT
