Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Write, plan, execute, analyze, and report on software acceptance tests
• Develop and train others on the development of automated tests and automated test frameworks
• Communicate and coordinate with internal Command departments, cross-service organizations, and external agencies to synchronize Cyber capabilities
• Design and develop new or modified test automation solutions to meet customer needs
• Review unit tests and advise development teams on improving testing thoroughness

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred)
• US Citizenship required
• 2+ years of experience using CNO Tools and understanding their architecture
• Experience setting up testing environments, managing repositories, and writing automated testing scripts
• Experience writing functional, integration, and acceptance tests in Java, C, Python, or Bash
• Proven knowledge of setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Atlassian Bamboo or GitLab
• Experience with VMware and setting up VMs from templates
• Bachelor of Science degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization such as Docker
• Understanding of both Linux and Windows CLI
• Experience developing automated scripts and tailoring them to project-specific tools
• Experience working with customers to develop business process enhancements
