Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and documentation to ensure features are clear and testable
• Execute manual and automated test cases to identify issues and validate application quality
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated tests within the build and deployment process
• Communicate testing progress, results, and defects clearly to team members
• Maintain and update testing documentation as products and processes evolve
• Learn Payment Card processing and merchant onboarding workflows to support business functionality testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (graduating December 2024 or later)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, including test cases and defect tracking
• Exposure to web application testing and basic SQL querying skills
• Experience or coursework in programming or scripting (e.g., Java, Python)
• Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is not available)
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium or Cucumber
• Familiarity with version control or CI/CD tools like Git or Jenkins
• Familiarity with APIs and a basic understanding of REST services
