Software Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute software patching, OS upgrades, and defined OS procedures following established playbooks.
• Edit, modify, and debug software products in alignment with test plans and procedures.
• Reproduce technical issues and capture evidence such as logs, error codes, and system states.
• Support datacenter operations and equipment to ensure minimal operational impact during changes.
• Provide on-site support across factory floor, laboratory, and datacenter environments.
• Troubleshoot nonstandard problems using structured debugging methods and escalate with complete artifacts.
• Maintain disciplined documentation including change records, test evidence, and maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and infrastructure teams to coordinate maintenance windows.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
• High School diploma required, with 6+ years of relevant or military experience.
• Proficiency in editing, debugging, and modifying software in accordance with test procedures.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Associate degree or higher with relevant experience.
