Responsibilities

• Partner with software and ML leadership on execution strategy, resource planning, and timeline delivery
• Translate product and scientific ambitions into actionable engineering milestones and operational roadmaps
• Own execution and dependency management across ML, software, and hardware teams
• Structure release readiness and deployment schedules for ML models and software systems
• Participate in design reviews and understand system architectures and code
• Translate technical risks and execution status between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Bring structure to ambiguous technical initiatives by scoping and sequencing them

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or applied ML, plus program management or engineering leadership
• Demonstrated understanding of the ML development lifecycle (data, training, evaluation, validation, and deployment)
• Strong software fluency with the ability to read code in at least one mainstream language
• Direct experience driving technical execution inside a software or ML organization
• Fluency with modern AI tools like LLMs and automation platforms
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent engineering experience
• Authorized to work in the US and available on-site in Elizabeth, NJ

Preferred Qualifications

• Background as a software or ML engineer who still writes code occasionally
• Experience orchestrating applied ML products, ML platforms, or generative AI systems
• Experience in small, fast-moving AI/ML companies
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, or notebooks
• Track record of building AI-powered workflows to improve engineering operations
