Software System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide software solutions support and troubleshooting for manufacturing and engineering projects.
• Deliver results for projects ranging from initial development to full-scale manufacturing.
• Work with teams to develop system requirements, establish design constraints, and set priorities.
• Help develop software and project management best practices, including coding standards, unit testing, and archive management.
• Communicate development progress, testing results, and project status to team members and leadership.
• Integrate new systems and technologies into existing development and manufacturing systems.
• Transfer new technologies to equipment and process receivers, provide remote support, and develop system documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience in IMS/MES projects (Scoping, Requirements, Design, Development, and Deployment).
• Experience following a structured software development process, including programming discipline and test planning.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using C# or Java.
• Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and maintenance using SQL.
• Experience with web development backend or frontend frameworks (e.g., MVC, VueJS, or Angular).
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or SVN.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery.
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
