Software Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for TruTops CAD/CAM software via phone and on-site visits
• Consult with customers regarding software system design and maintenance
• Troubleshoot software-related problems and accurately report technical conditions
• Communicate with engineers and programmers to understand project limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces
• Perform required tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional customer service attitude

Requirements

• BA in Information Technologies, a similar degree, or formal training in systems support (e.g., Microsoft training)
• Solid Computer/IT background
• Experience in technical support or customer service
• Excellent communication skills and professional telephone etiquette
• Willingness to travel up to 15%, including overnight travel throughout North America and some international travel
