Software Senior Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and architecture of modern storage platforms
• Participate in the full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery, and support
• Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Implement features and test automation related to networking of storage systems
• Conduct discovery tasks and proof of concepts for modern networking solutions
• Implement company standards to ensure quality and security

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of related experience
• Exceptional programming expertise in Python or C
• Strong understanding of modern Linux including kernel, drivers, and containers
• Ability to write clean, testable code
• Familiarity with unit, integration, and system testing and CI/CD
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with storage systems
• Knowledge of networking technologies such as Ethernet or InfiniBand
• Ability to achieve proficiency in new tools and frameworks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in Agile/Scrum environments
