Software Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software and storage environments
• Prepare written software and storage specifications for sophisticated products based on architectural diagrams
• Build and review design, functional, technical, and user documentation
• Develop, review, and implement test strategies for software products and systems

Requirements

• 5–8 years of related software engineering experience
• Validated knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, and firmware
• Experience with BIOS, device drivers, and databases
• Proficiency in embedded software/firmware and system/network administration
• Ability to code and debug sophisticated programs using written or verbal design specifications
• Capacity to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new tools, languages, and operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
