Software Research Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between abstract AI research and production-grade software architecture
• Develop prototypes and production systems for next-generation knowledge retrieval and agentic AI technologies
• Implement technologies such as hybrid GraphRAG, knowledgeable agents, and dynamic context compression
• Manage data preparation, algorithms, modeling, and product scaling
• Contribute to the development of open-source software
• Support the deployment of developed software

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a Mathematical discipline
• At least 3 years of project experience in software engineering
• Experience with advanced retrieval mechanics
• Algorithmic mindset for non-determinism
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Proficiency in Python, Docker, and Git
• Strong software engineering practices including clean code and CI/CD

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs and Graph Databases
• Knowledge of LLM and agent technologies (hallucination handling, distillation, memory, reasoning)
• Knowledge of modern multi-modal ingestion frameworks
• Experience with NLP or Machine Learning techniques
