Software Quality/Testing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression cycles to ensure software functionality and reliability.
• Perform functional, UI/UX, workflow, integration, and performance testing across various modules.
• Validate calculation engines, API services, and data processing for accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, prioritization, retesting, and closure.
• Validate data integrity for lab-generated datasets and ensure accurate ingestion into backend systems.
• Verify AI-driven recommendations, predictive modeling outputs, and analytical dashboards.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners during sprint planning and release readiness reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2-4 years of experience in manual or automation testing of software applications.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience testing web, desktop, or mobile applications.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and scripting languages.
• Proven ability to document test cases, track defects, and report results effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation or other relevant software testing certifications.
• Experience with web testing automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or qTest.
• Background in industrial coatings, PFP engineering, or structural/fire engineering tools.
• Understanding of AI/ML validation concepts and engineering calculation engines.
• Exposure to R&D datasets or lab testing data.
