Software Quality Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering to design, test, and deploy Machine Learning and Generative AI models to improve issue detection and triage efficiency
• Leverage AI-powered insights to identify emerging on-road issue trends, risk scenarios, and edge cases
• Define and document new policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that integrate AI tools into vendor workflows
• Design and implement quality control processes for both human and AI-generated outputs
• Act as a subject matter expert for Software Quality Operations, working with stakeholders and vendor teams
• Provide technical leadership to enhance workflows and provide technical requirements to engineering for new tooling features

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in AV Software Quality Operations
• Competency in supporting machine learning development lifecycles (data preparation, training, validation, deployment, monitoring)
• Experience with ML testing and validation, including dataset QA, bias detection, and performance evaluation
• Ability to learn proprietary tools quickly and a strong understanding of driving rules and regulations
• Ability to provide occasional on-call availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with offshore teams or multiple local operations hubs
• Basic SQL querying skills
• Competency in LLM, transformer models, or ML for robotics
• Strong execution skills with the ability to drive outcomes
