Software Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers to deliver high-quality software
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans in Xray for each sprint
• Log, track, and triage defects with detailed, reproducible steps
• Expand and enhance automated test coverage for UI and API to improve scalability
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Validate acceptance criteria during grooming sessions to ensure testability
• Configure and manage automated test environments using tools like Jenkins or TeamCity
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and retrospectives
• Guide and mentor junior staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 9 years of software testing experience in a process-driven environment
• Proven experience with test automation (UI and/or API)
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or investment management domains
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
