Software Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform manual localisation testing on software, print documents, help files, and hardware items.
• Report issues using internal tools, providing detailed information and following the solution process to completion.
• Analyse international functionality issues to ensure high-quality user experiences.
• Work cross-functionally with international QA centers, engineering teams, translators, and project managers.
• Design, implement, and organise manual test plans and automated test procedures.

Requirements

• Fluent in Norwegian and English with full professional competence and linguistic proficiency.
• Ability to represent a Norwegian user in all aspects of software interaction.
• Knowledge of software localization and internationalization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Localisation Quality Assurance.
• Strong technical expertise and experience as a hardware/software power user (specifically Apple products).
• Experience with software test automation.
• Knowledge of macOS/iOS software development (Xcode or Swift).
• Project management experience.
