Software Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform manual localization testing on software, print documents, help files, and hardware items.
• Report issues using internal tools, providing detailed information and following the solution process to completion.
• Analyze international functionality issues and identify areas for improvement in existing tools and processes.
• Work cross-functionally with international QA centers, engineering teams, translators, and project managers.
• Design, implement, and organize manual test plans.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test procedures using technologies such as Python, Ruby, Swift, or ObjC.

Requirements

• Fluent in Czech and English with full professional competence and linguistic proficiency.
• Ability to represent a Czech user in all aspects of software interaction.
• Knowledge of software localization and internationalization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Localization Quality Assurance.
• Strong technical expertise and experience as a power user of Apple products.
• Experience with macOS/iOS software development (Xcode, Swift).
• Experience with software test automation or project management.
