Software Quality Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Execute and support the completion of Quality Engineering deliverables, including manual and automated test plans, scripts, and reports
• Design and develop test automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
• Manage test planning and execution efforts for both onsite and offshore testing teams
• Perform Design Verification and Validation (V&V) testing and participate in root-cause analysis investigations
• Participate in software and firmware design reviews, code inspections, and static testing
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain Design History File (DHF) integrity
• Support product Risk Management activities and internal/external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• 2-5 years of experience in software development (web-based, client-server, or embedded systems)
• 2-5 years of experience in software testing and verification/validation
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, Java, or Python
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or UFT
• Strong knowledge of Agile SDLC and various software development life cycles (V-Model, Iterative, etc.)
• Experience with configuration and issue tracking tools such as Git, Jira, or Subversion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile test automation tools such as Perfecto or MobileLabs
• Working experience in behavior-driven testing and scripting using Cucumber or Behave
• Experience working within a large, cross-divisional enterprise business model
