Software Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites covering front-end UI, API, and performance testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable feedback loops
• Help establish the QA tool stack, define best practices, and set standards for test automation
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers to identify testability concerns and define acceptance criteria
• Triage and investigate test failures to distinguish between product defects and test issues
• Identify opportunities to apply GenAI tools to improve testing workflows
• Contribute to documentation of testing standards, frameworks, and processes

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a QA or test engineering role with a focus on automation
• Proven experience writing automated tests for front-end UI, API, and performance
• Familiarity with Java and/or JavaScript testing ecosystems
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis
• Familiarity with agile or iterative development environments
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
