Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, including scope, objectives, and timelines
• Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases based on product requirements
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge cases across various platforms
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites using Selenium, Appium, or Playwright
• Log detailed, reproducible bug reports and collaborate with developers to track and verify fixes
• Participate in performance testing, including load and stress tests, to ensure application stability
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure products align with business expectations
• Maintain accurate documentation for test cases, results, and QA processes

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in manual and automated testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on experience testing both web and mobile applications
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Playwright
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification
