Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the implementation of project activities in accordance with contractual requirements and internal processes
• Manage quality processes including operational monitoring, reporting, and action plans
• Deploy and maintain software quality development processes on projects
• Write, maintain, and monitor Software Quality Plans
• Review, verify, and validate software deliverables from suppliers for all subsystems
• Prepare and lead documentary reviews and quality milestones (Gate Reviews)
• Manage non-conformities and associated corrective actions
• Prepare and participate in internal and supplier audits

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5)
• Significant experience in software quality assurance, embedded systems, or highly constrained industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of quality processes applied to software development
• Experience with audits, documentary reviews, and compliance management
• Understanding of software development cycles and critical systems
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of railway environments or embedded systems
• Proficiency with tools such as DOORS, PTC Modeler, Spectrail, ClearCase, JIRA, or ClearQuest
