Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software tests to identify problems and their root causes
• Document software and application defects using bug tracking systems and report them to developers
• Create and maintain databases of known defects to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and product designs
• Perform system and quality assurance testing to identify key failure points for applications
• Conduct software compatibility tests across various programs, hardware, and operating systems
• Integrate testing processes with user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Coordinate with application support teams to eliminate recurring incidents and minimize impact

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business, Technology, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in Information Technology (IT), engineering, or IT-related consulting
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in any field with 3 years of relevant experience
• 1 year of experience in at least 4 specific tools or technologies across various categories (e.g., Programming Languages, Databases, Cloud Services, Testing & QA Tools, etc.), with at least 2 tools coming from the same category
