Software QA Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Participate in all steps of the software development life cycle to ensure continuous quality and testability of code.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, suites, and scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform white box testing at the source code level to identify and prevent hidden errors within unit and component testing.
• Develop software tools and utilities for validation, verification, and end-to-end functional testing, including API and RESTful service testing.
• Conduct performance, load, security, and service virtualization testing to identify application bottlenecks and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to develop intricate test plans, data conditioning, and execution strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Perl, or Groovy.
• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration (CI) tools.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and testing paradigms like TDD and BDD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience developing automated testing strategies across diverse environments and frameworks.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, and service virtualization tools.
