About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in all steps of the software development life cycle to ensure continuous quality and testability of code.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, suites, and scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct white box testing at the source code level to identify and prevent hidden errors within unit and component testing.
- Develop software tools and utilities for end-to-end functional testing, including APIs, RESTful APIs, and web services.
- Perform performance, load, security, and service virtualization testing to identify application bottlenecks and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to develop intricate test plans, data conditioning, and execution strategies.
- Act as a single point of contact for assigned client projects regarding test engineering activities and coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Perl, or Groovy.
- Strong experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development) methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks, automation tools, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, and various testing tools including API, Mobile, and Service Virtualization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience developing automated testing strategies across a variety of environments and frameworks.
