Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Verify and maximize product quality to ensure stable operation and improvement
• Perform quality verification based on test cases for new features and changes
• Design test cases and perform test planning through requirement analysis
• Implement shift-left testing to detect defects early in the development stage
• Conduct functional and regression testing for service releases
• Collaborate with related departments for defect reporting, analysis, tracking, and resolution

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of software QA experience
• Ability to communicate basic business tasks in English
• Experience in establishing QA plans and designing/writing test cases
• Ability to lead projects and perform QA tasks proactively
• Experience using test automation tools or building test infrastructure
• Experience performing QA in Agile/Scrum based development processes
• Strong communication skills with planning and development teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup organizational culture
• Experience in SW QA for robots, embedded systems, or IoT devices
• Experience in shift-left testing or QA process improvement
• API testing experience and understanding of network environments
• Software testing certifications such as ISTQB
